He Has Despised the Word of the Lord and Broken His Commandment
Numbers 15:31

Numbers 15:31 He shall certainly be cut off, because he has despised the word of the LORD and broken His commandment; his guilt remains on him.”
This verse describes a person who knowingly rejects God’s authority. It speaks of someone who despises the word of the LORD and breaks His commandments.
In our recent Bible study, we learned that a person who lives this way is practicing lawlessness. The guilt of sin remains on that person unless it is forgiven.
In order to be freed from that guilt, the person must receive the forgiveness that Christ offers and turn to Him in repentance and faith. This will allow them to have a relationship with God. ~ Jeff M Newman
