If You Knew Me, You Would Know My Father as Well
John 8:19

Where is Your Father?” they asked Him. “You do not know Me or My Father,” Jesus answered. “If you knew Me, you would know My Father as well.” (John 8:19)
In context, Jesus is confronting the Pharisees, the religious leaders and teachers of the Law of Moses, who question Him by asking, “Where is Your Father?” By asking this, they reveal that they do not truly know God the Father, because they do not recognize who Jesus is.
In John 14:6, Jesus says, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” The only way to know the Father is through Jesus.
In order to know God the Father, a person must put their faith in Christ. When someone believes in Him, they are born again and called a child of God. Because the Pharisees did not believe in Jesus, they were not born again and therefore did not truly know the Father. But if you believe in Jesus today, you can know the Father personally and live as His beloved child. ~ Jeff M Newman
