It Is the Glory of God to Conceal a Matter
Proverbs 25:2

It is the glory of God to conceal a matter and the glory of kings to search it out. (Proverbs 25:2)
We cannot fully understand the greatness and holiness of God. He is infinite, and we are finite, so some things belong to Him alone. Yet He invites us to seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 tells us that God “rewards those who earnestly seek Him.” As we seek to know God, He reveals Himself according to His perfect will and timing.
We do not need to understand everything about God in order to trust Him. Instead, we begin with what He has already revealed and continue seeking to know Him more.
Jesus defines eternal life this way: “Now this is eternal life: that they know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent” (John 17:3). As our relationship with God deepens, He graciously leads us into a greater knowledge of Himself. ~ Jeff M Newman
