I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in Me should remain in darkness. (John 12:46)
Before you come to know Jesus you are living in darkness. This means that you are living in sin. Sin separates us from God. When you believe that Jesus paid for your sin on the cross, you will be forgiven of your sin. After you believe in Jesus, He will bring light into your life. He will also show you how to live in the light. Do the things that He is teaching you to do, like love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength and love your neighbor as yourself. ~ Jeff M Newman
