Jesus Can Help You With Temptations

Hebrews 2:18

Because He Himself suffered when He was tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted. (Hebrews 2:18)

If you are struggling with temptation, look to Jesus. Jesus understands temptation. Read Luke 4 and you can learn about how Jesus was tempted by the devil when He was led by the Spirit into the wilderness. Jesus used scriptures to battle. In Ephesians 6, you can read that we are to put on the armor of God and use the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, to battle. Jesus is the Word of God. By using the word of God in your battle, you are allowing Jesus to help you in the fight. Memorize some verses that you can use to battle the temptations that you face. When the temptation arises, say the verses that you memorized out loud over and over. ~ Jeff M Newman
