But to those of you who will listen, I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. (Luke 6:27-28)
In this world, you are going to have people that do not treat you well. In your flesh, it is easy to retaliate and have bitterness. These can ultimately cause a lot of pain. However, Jesus has another strategy. He says to do the following. 1. Love them. 2. Bless them. 3. Pray for them. Do you have people in your life that you struggle with or who have done mean things to you? Follow Jesus’ instructions, rather than resort to sinful behavior. ~ Jeff M Newman
