Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm.” Therefore Pilate said to Him, “So You are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say correctly that I am a king. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to testify to the truth. (John 18:36-37)
Jesus’ kingdom is outside of this world. Jesus will not be elected by this world’s system. Jesus’ kingdom does not receive authority from this world’s system. His kingdom is built upon the truth of God. His Kingdom advances when people hear the truth and believe it. ~ Jeff M Newman

Lesson 3 - 1 John 1:1...which we have seen with our own eyes...
Welcome back to our verse-by-verse Bible study of 1 John. Last lesson we focused on how God wants you to hear Him, obey Him, continue in His word till the end, and be an overcomer. In this lesson, we are going to learn about seeing Jesus with the eyes of faith.
God Is Your Rock
Rest in God alone, O my soul, for my hope comes from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress; I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor rest on God, my strong rock; my refuge is in God. Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is our refuge. (Psalm 62:5-8)
