No Basis for a Charge Against Him
John 19:4

John 19:4 Once again Pilate came out and said to the Jews, “Look, I am bringing Him out to you to let you know that I find no basis for a charge against Him.”
Jesus was brought to trial before His crucifixion. The religious leaders accused Him of blasphemy and political rebellion.
However, Pontius Pilate, the Roman governor of Judea, stated that he could find no basis for a charge against Him. This emphasizes the truth that Jesus was completely innocent.
Pilate was unknowingly testifying to the purity of Christ. The One who died on the cross for your sins was perfectly pure and worthy to take away the sins of the world. Take a moment and think about this: Jesus is pure.
This also connects with 1 John 3:3, which teaches that everyone who has hope in Christ purifies himself just as He is pure. The innocence declared by Pilate highlights the perfect purity of Jesus. ~ Jeff M Newman
