Our Old Self Was Crucified With Him
Romans 6:6

Romans 6:6 We know that our old self was crucified with Him so that the body of sin might be rendered powerless, that we should no longer be slaves to sin.
When you put your faith in Christ, your old identity was crucified with Him. You are no longer a slave to sin. This is now true of you.
This does not mean sin is absent, but that its power over you has been broken. As you abide in Christ, you increasingly walk in the freedom that is already yours. ~ Jeff M Newman

Observe Jesus’ Commands
Love your enemies. Love people that do not love you. Reflect the perfect love that God has for people.
Matthew 5:43-47 You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor’ and ‘Hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Do not even tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even Gentiles do the same? (Luke 6:27-28)
