Overflowing Love for Others

1 Thessalonians 3:12-13

And may the Lord cause you to increase and overflow with love for one another and for everyone else, just as our love for you overflows, so that He may establish your hearts in blamelessness and holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints. Amen.…(1 Thessalonians 3:12-13)

Ask God to fill your heart with an overflowing love for others. Then pray for those around you—that their hearts would also be filled with overflowing love for others. You are controlled by whatever is currently filling your heart. That’s why the Bible says to guard your heart with all diligence. You want your heart to be filled with love rather than self-focus.
