For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in your knowledge of Him. (Ephesians 1:15-17)
This was written by the Apostle Paul. He had a genuine care and concern for the Ephesian believers. Let Paul be an example to you as you minister to others.
If you are ministering to others, thank God for their commitment to Christ and pray that God gives them a spirit of wisdom and revelation in their knowledge of God.
This shows us that we are not just to pray for those who are hurting but to give thanks for and pray for those who are thriving in their faith. ~ Jeff M Newman
