Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be apparent to all. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:4-7)
How can you live a life of continual rejoicing, when you have difficult relationships with others? The first is to treat those people with grace and gentleness. Think about what Jesus did for you on the cross. Jesus died for people that hated Him and wanted to kill Him. Next, pray for them each day. Think about how much time they occupy your mind right now, and replace that time with prayer. Be thankful to God for them, knowing that God is using them to help you mature. God is with you during this whole process and will help you. Ask Him for the strength to act with grace and to pray for these people you struggle with each day. ~ Jeff M Newman
If you have any prayer requests, please share them in the comments, so I can pray for you.
