You Are Not of the World

If the world hates you, understand that it hated Me first. If you were of the world, it would love you as its own. Instead, the world hates you, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. (John 15:18-19)
The “world” is the Satanic system that is in rebellion against God. When you give your life to Jesus and believe in what He has done for you on the cross, you come into the cross hairs of the world. The world hates Jesus. Don’t be surprised if you experience hostility when your priorities don’t align with those of the world. The good news is that Jesus has overcome the world. ~ Jeff M Newman
