But in your hearts sanctify Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give a defense to everyone who asks you the reason for the hope that is in you. But respond with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who slander you may be put to shame by your good behavior in Christ. (1 Peter 3:15-16)
The first step to effectively sharing Jesus with others is to recognize that He is the Lord of your life. When Jesus is the Lord of your life, He will completely transform you. God will become your source of strength and hope. As you move through life, you will encounter many people who do not share your beliefs, but they will notice the change in your life. Always be prepared to share what Christ has done for you in a gentle and respectful way. People who don’t agree with your decision to make Christ the Lord of your life may even slander you. However, if you are loving God and loving others as Christ loves us, there will be nothing meaningful they can say, and they will be put to shame. ~ Jeff M Newman

Don't Let The World Choke Out The Word
The seed sown among the thorns is the one who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. (Matthew 13:22)
