Titus 2:11–13 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to everyone. 12 It instructs us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live sensible, upright, and godly lives in the present age, 13 as we await the blessed hope and glorious appearance of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.
You are saved from eternal separation from God by His grace alone. That same grace does not leave us unchanged.
As we wait for the blessed hope and the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, we are called to prepare ourselves.
God’s grace instructs us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions and to live sensible, upright, and godly lives right now in this present age.
Ask God to search and evaluate your life and to reveal where His grace is shaping you and where repentance is still needed.
Then ask Him for the strength to obey, trusting that the grace that saved you is also the grace that guides you. ~ Jeff M Newman
