The Gift of God is Eternal Life

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

Every person has sinned against God. The penalty for sin is eternal death. However, God loved you so much that He sent His Son to pay the penalty for your sin by dying on the cross. When you believe Jesus did this for you, you will receive the gift of eternal life. Eternal life is an ongoing relationship with God based on His love and grace. Eternal life is a gift. The more you understand what God has done for you and is constantly doing for you, the more you will fall in love with Him and share His love with others. ~ Jeff M Newman
