The god of This Age Has Blinded the Minds of Unbelievers
2 Corinthians 4:4

The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. (2 Corinthians 4:4)
Paul says that “the god of this age” (Satan) blinds unbelievers so they cannot see “the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ.” Scripture affirms this reality: “the whole world lies in the power of the evil one” (1 John 5:19). The world system is in rebellion against God, and Satan works to keep people from seeing who Jesus truly is, the perfect representation of the invisible God (Hebrews 1:3).
Because of this, believers live among people who cannot see the light of Christ. Ask God to shine His light into their hearts just as He did in yours (2 Corinthians 4:6). Keep your eyes on Him and let His love flow through you in everyday interactions.
God can pierce any darkness. Stay faithful, stay prayerful, and shine the light of Christ where He has placed you. ~ Jeff M Newman

Observe Jesus’ Commands
Beware of the scribes. Beware of corrupt, self-serving teachers that seek attention and recognition and take advantage of vulnerable individuals.
Mark 12:38-40 In His teaching He was saying: “Beware of the scribes who like to walk around in long robes, and like respectful greetings in the market places, 39 and chief seats in the synagogues and places of honor at banquets, 40 who devour widows’ houses, and for appearance’s sake offer long prayers; these will receive greater condemnation.” (Luke 20:45-47)
