But to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God— children born not of blood, nor of the desire or will of man, but born of God. (John 1:12-13)
God is so gracious. When you receive Jesus and believe in His name, you are born again and given the right to become a child of God. In that moment, you receive a new identity and a place in God’s eternal family.
This isn’t something you could ever earn. It’s a gift of grace, completely the work of God. Take time today to praise Him for adopting you into His family and calling you His own. ~ Jeff M Newman
