The Son of God Gave Himself Up for You

I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. (Galatians 2:20)

This means that our old way of living, focused on self, sin, and separation from God, has died. It was crucified on the cross with Christ. Everything has changed. Instead of living for yourself, you now live by faith in the Son of God. This means you are completely dependent on Him for everything in your life. The Christian life is not about trying harder but about trusting Jesus.

Jesus loves you so much that He gave Himself for you. Meditate on the truth that Christ paid the ultimate sacrifice so that you could truly live.~ Jeff M Newman
