They Cannot Fathom the Work That God Has Done From Beginning to End

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart, yet they cannot fathom the work that God has done from beginning to end. (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
God governs time and does not reveal everything about what He is doing. He has placed eternity in our hearts, giving us an awareness that there is more than this present moment. We sense that we are made for something beyond what we can see now, and we long for what is still to come.
Yet we cannot fully understand the work God is doing because He has not revealed everything. What we will be has not yet been made known. God’s story is still unfolding. If you feel confused because you do not understand what is happening, be patient. God’s thoughts are not our thoughts, and the secret things belong to the Lord. Trust what God is doing, knowing that He loves you. ~ Jeff M Newman
