They Speak From the World’s Perspective
1 John 4:5

They are of the world. That is why they speak from the world’s perspective, and the world listens to them. (1 John 4:5)
John is speaking about false teachers. They are part of the world system that stands in opposition to God. When they speak, they speak from the world’s perspective, and the world pays attention to them. As a Christian, however, your perspective is centered on Christ, and this causes you to see things differently.
For example, Jesus says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). The world does not accept this truth. Instead, it says there are many ways to truth and life, and that you are to “live your truth.” This is what John means in 1 John 3:1 when he says that the world does not know us. Because we belong to Christ, the world does not recognize or understand us. ~ Jeff M Newman
Worldly teaching will try to turn you away from Christ. Therefore, keep your eyes on God continually.

Observe Jesus’ Commands
Believe that Jesus is the I AM.
John 8:23-24 Then He told them, “You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. 24 That is why I told you that you would die in your sins. For unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.”
John 8:54-58 Jesus answered, “If I glorify Myself, My glory means nothing. The One who glorifies Me is My Father, of whom you say ‘He is our God.’ 55 You do not know Him, but I know Him. If I said I did not know Him, I would be a liar like you. But I do know Him, and I keep His word. 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced that he would see My day. He saw it and was glad.” 57 Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and You have seen Abraham?” 58 “Truly, truly, I tell you,” Jesus declared, “before Abraham was born, I am!”
