“Watch and pray so that you will not enter into temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak.” (Matthew 26:41)
Jesus is letting us know that we are weak because of our sinful nature. He understands our struggles and knows that we can be tempted at any moment.
Jesus is offering to help you with your temptations.
The key is to be vigilant and constantly on the lookout for thoughts and actions that would pull you away from your relationship with Him.
Ask Him to give you the strength to resist temptation and to follow His will. He will help you.~ Jeff M Newman
