Who May Ascend the Hill of the Lord?

Psalm 24:3-4 Who may ascend the hill of the LORD? Who may stand in His holy place? 4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear deceitfully.
The ultimate fulfillment of this passage is found in Christ. He alone has perfectly clean hands and a pure heart. Through faith in Him, we are washed clean by His blood and made acceptable before God.
One day, we will see Christ face to face.
When our hope is set on Christ and on the reality that we will be like Him when we see Him, we are moved to purify ourselves, just as He is pure.
This purification is not accomplished by our own strength, but as we submit daily to the work of the Holy Spirit, who conforms us more and more into the image of Christ.
If there is anything in your life that rivals your devotion to God, forsake it. Turn from every idol.
Ask God to fill you afresh with His Spirit and to continue His sanctifying work in you, that you may walk toward Him with clean hands and a pure heart. ~ Jeff M Newman
