God the Son Came to Make God the Father Known
John 1:18
No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is Himself God and is at the Father’s side, has made Him known. (John 1:18)
You cannot see God the Father with your physical eyes. God is spirit according to John 4:24, and Scripture tells us that no one can see God’s face and live (Exodus 33:20).
Hebrews 1:3 says, “The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His nature.” From all eternity, the Son has shared a deep and abiding relationship with the Father.
This is why God the Son came to make God the Father known. Though you cannot see the Father directly, you see Him when you fix your eyes on Jesus by faith. As you read the Scriptures, look for Jesus, and you will see the Father revealed.~ Jeff M Newman
