Numbers 35:34 Do not defile the land where you live and where I dwell. For I, the LORD, dwell among the Israelites.”
In the Old Testament, we see God dwelling among the Israelites in the tabernacle. In the New Testament, God dwells within believers through the Holy Spirit. As Christians, we are called to abide in Christ. Because God lives within us, we are called to pursue holiness and not defile our bodies through sinful living.
Abiding in Christ means remaining close to Him. We do this by obeying God’s Word, confessing our sins, turning away from sin, and depending on His strength each day. We are not trying to earn God’s love. Rather, we desire to live in a way that honors the One who lives within us.
Draw near to God through prayer and His Word. Stay close to Him and remember that Christ is with you wherever you go. As you abide in Him, He will continue to transform you into His image. ~ Jeff M Newman

Believe the works of the Father.
John 10:37-38 If I am not doing the works of My Father, then do not believe Me. 38 But if I am doing them, even though you do not believe Me, believe the works themselves, so that you may know and understand that the Father is in Me, and I am in the Father.”
