Work Wholeheartedly For The Lord

Colossians 3:23-24

Whatever you do, work at it with your whole being, for the Lord and not for men, because you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as your reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. (Colossians 3:23-24 Berean Study Bible)

Eternal rewards from the Lord are not just reserved for things like praying, being a missionary, preaching, or reading the Bible. You will get rewarded when you do your work unto the Lord and you do that work with your whole being. This includes things like mowing the lawn, doing the dishes, doing school work, working at your job, and cleaning the house. Turn everything you do into a way to bring glory to the Lord. When you do your work with your whole being, you are reflecting the Lord to those around you. ~ Jeff M Newman
